Victoria Maddocks is a design and branding expert with over 25 years of experience in building power brands.
Having helmed projects in the U.S., Asia, Europe
and Latin America she is a creative force with a
track record in driving innovation and delivering
emotional, relevant branding across digital and
social media platforms, advertising, packaging,
merchandising and store design.
Maddocks is the Founder and Creative Director
of Maddocks Agency, a bespoke, quality-driven
marketing and creative agency.
Beginning her career as Art Director for South
Beach Magazine, Maddocks quickly segued to
advertising and creative branding, serving as Senior
Graphic Designer for Gucci during the pivotal Tom
Ford era.
In 2001, Maddocks was named Creative Director for Kiehl’s Since 1851, which had recently been acquired by L’Oréal. There she positioned the brand for global expansion, taking it from one store in New York to 100+ stores (and 200 shop-in-shops) in 35 countries. Kiehl’s now ranks in the top five brands within the L’Oréal portfolio.
Following the Kiehl’s success, Maddocks was named Vice President, Global Creative Director for Philosophy. There, Maddocks created significant content for many product launches yielding millions of earned media impressions and directed the design and build of two stores. Sales grew at double digit rates during her tenure.
Maddocks was later appointed Senior Vice President Creative for Topix Brands. Tasked with modernizing the images for several brands within the portfolio – Topix Pharmaceuticals, Clarity RX Skincare, Replenix, Think Baby & Sport and Derma E – Maddocks once again modernized the brands resulting in double digit growth.
In 2023, Maddocks founded Maddocks Agency, a boutique firm serving both small and large-scale companies.
With a robust portfolio in branding and design, Maddocks also brings decades of leadership experience and can support
brands in need of talent and change management. She is a passionate and inspirational leader with an ability to invigorate
and realign teams so they work more efficiently and deliver superior results.
Maddocks possesses strong business acumen and entrepreneurial vigor, excelling in budget management and overhead
reduction while consistently producing award-winning creative work.
Maddocks brings vibrant energy, and her collaborative approach has led to decades of success working with cross-functional teams, including CEOs, marketing professionals, product developers, architects and merchants. She understands the
power of great design and how to turn it into sales and profit, ensuring that brands thrive in a competitive marketplace.
Maddocks is British-born with American citizenship. She speaks French and is well traveled. She holds a BA in Graphic Design
from Northumbria University in her native homeland.
